A French squad named WE GOT GAME won the second MSI Beat it! EU qualifier by beating Vikings in the final 2-1 (12-16 on de_dust2_se, 16-2 on de_inferno_se & 16-3 on de_mirage_ce).

Second MSI Beat it! European Open qualifier began earlier today by getting expanded to 64 slots due to high demand.

Teams like n!faculty, 4w, Clan-Mystik, iNation signed up, as well as Eternity Gaming strengthened by ex-Western Wolves players Jacob "Pimp" Winneche and Matthias "MSL" Lauridsen, and an international mix ANBU containing Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovacs, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and Ricardo "fox" Pacheco.

However, yesterday's finalists and main favorites n!faculty had a tough time once again, barely making it over EYES ON U in the quarter-final 22-19, and then losing 14-16 in the battle for the grand final to a French mix-team WE GOT GAME led by former LDLC.com captain Vincent "Happy" Cervoni.

On the other side of the bracket, DH Valencia runners-up Clan-Mystik expectedly made it to the semi-final, but they also lost to a mix-team, Vikings, gathered around Sune "crZy" Hansen and featuring former fm.TOXiC AWPer André "BARBARR" Möller.

In the unexpected final Danish team took the first map de_dust2_se 16-12, but Frenchmen retaliated powerfully in the second map de_inferno_se with 16-2, largely thanks to superb AWPing by Joey "fxy0" Schlosser.

Decider de_mirage_ce once again saw WE GOT GAME stomp over Vikings, this time with a 16-3 score and once again with strong play by Schlosser.

WE GOT GAME are now qualified for MSI Beat it! EU Qualifier Shootout which should take place on Saturday. The four best teams from the qualifiers will face off in a randomly drawn pair of best-of-three matches, and the two winners will qualify for Fnatic FragOut Season 3 which will serve as the main stepping stone to MSI Beat it! 2013 in Shanghai, China.

Third qualifier will take place tomorrow at the same time, with check-in at 16:00 and tournament start one hour later. Teams interested in participating can sign up here.
